Coming Soon - SporTEA

 Coming soon... SporTEA 🏸🏈

We are planning to develop a SporTEA ground for the children at The Cloud which is part of our concept "At E.A.S.E." (Education, Art, Sports and Environment). All these fields will be given equal importance to identify the children’s potential. ✌

The idea of SporTEA is to ecourage children to improve their physical and mental health.

SporTEA will be a very important arm of our support in the near future. Obviously the health aspects and as a platform for raising equality; to introduce young girls at The Cloud.

'Every Child Should Be @E.A.S.E'  to be the best one can be to realize their potential πŸ†

Ongoing travel restrictions have caused loss of income and uncertainty in the communiTEA. Children are endangered by hunger and malnutrition.

Giving is the greatest act of grace!

That's why The T.E.A. Project provided a weekly supply of dry rations to the communiTEA, feeding over 300 people from 80 families in the tea plantations. We express our sincere gratitude to supporters, donors and our wonderful TEAm who made this event possible.

Please support us for another F.O.O.D Drop !

The ongoing travel restrictions in Sri Lanka has increased the vulnerability of communiTEAs with less or zero income. They are literally ‘offline’ and have no access to online shopping or education for their children.

Children are in need of nutrition, education, mental stimulation, improvement to their well being at this uncertain situation due to Covid-19 pandemic.

We are organizing an emergency F.O.O.D drop for more than 80 vulnerable tea estate families in Sri Lanka.

Now we are donating weekly dry rations including rice, dhal, sugar, potatoes, soya and quality tea packets.

Additionally we are giving out study packs to provide ongoing education which is also in line with the sound therapy concept.

If you would like to donate dry ration or financial assistance then please contact us.

World Environment Day - Projects by Children

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.“

On the occasion of World Environment Day we would like to again acknowledge projects the children we work with have accomplished, for example growing plants using recycling materials. We are proud and impressed with their work.

Children should be provided with diverse opportunities so that their hidden talents can emerge and blossom. That’s why we are here for them.

Happy World Environment Day! - "TEA for Tree"

Happy World Environment Day! 🌍

A small step can make a huge impact on restoring the ecosystem.

That’s why we start our "TEA for Tree" planting initiative today — to create a better tomorrow.

Please join us to protect the environment and the world.

The T.E.A. helps children during lockdown

Education is one of the areas heavily affected by the current pandemic. As a consequence, online learning is gaining more importance. But what if children don’t have access to devices? And what about physical activities and creativity?

With our study packs we make sure that children who have limited access to devices can continue their education. And not only this: Our study packs give them tasks that not only broaden their knowledge but also help them maintain healthy minds and well-being.

The last pack focused on Sinhala, arts and the environment. Children were actively asked to go out and do home-gardening, create something new and continue with Life-Echo, a sound therapy concept.

The outcome is not only enriching for them but for everyone. By contributing their ideas they also improve The Cloud’s environment and the well-being of the staff and services.
