The Wish Tree

The TEA Project made 57 Christmas wishes come true this week by giving children from an orphanage supported by TEA a special belated Christmas!
'Wish Workshops' were carried out in 2017 where each child was granted a wish up to the value of 1,000 rupees! Their personal wish was then individually hand written & designed by each child then placed on to our 'Wish Tree' at Theva Residency in Kandy. http://www.theva.lk/
Theva guests had the opportunity over Christmas of choosing a wish and buying a child their chosen wish; making their wish literally come true.
Thank you to all the staff & guests at Theva Residency for your selfless support and for partnering with The TEA Project to bring a smile to some very deserving children.
If you would like to help the work that The TEA Project does then please support our appeal to build a childrens centre in the tea plantations of the UVA Province. Just click on the links below. Thank you.

Running for T.E.A!

UK volunTEAr Paulo has taken up our challenge and will be running for TEA #Run4TEA in a series of events in 2018. Starting with a half Ultra 'warm up' in February followed closely by a 50 mile Ultra Marathon in April.
Take up the challenge and join our supporters running for TEA and help build our children's centre in the poor tea plantation communities of central Sri Lanka.
Come on! Just 15 more people like Paulo and we can build a centre that will support communities for 'generations'.
Please #Run4TEA & Support The Centre Appeal'

Congratulations Razni!

TEA are so happy to hear that Razni Razick has been acknowledged nationally for her contribution towards empowering children in Sri Lanka. We are grateful to Razni for volunTEAring with The TEA Project on our L.I.F.E Training and as an interpreter. We know Razni will continue to be an inspirational role model for Sri Lankan young people to aspire to. TEA look forward to working together again soon.
